GroPro Corp. is introducing its line of Absolute Botanicals active ingredients, one of a kind on the biopesticides market, after years of research and fieldwork.
For years, essential oils have been common inputs for biological control. But they weren’t great because they spoil easily and have a short shelf life. On top of that, the alcohols in oils can burn under strong sunlight, causing phytotoxicity, as well as being prone to contamination by heavy metals and byproducts, so they can’t be used in tank mixes.
