National Mosquito Control Awareness Week (June 19 - 25, 2022) with Skeeter

In recognition of National Mosquito Control Awareness Week, we want to share several facts prepared by the AMCA (American Mosquito Control Association). Gropro is a proud member of the AMCA.

In any given county within the United States, there are more than 30 different types or species of mosquitoes. Regardless of these differences, all mosquito species have a similar life cycle dependent upon water. Although, mosquitoes are responsible for causing more human suffering than any other animal, their bites can spread diseases such as Zika and West Nile Virus. Standing water, bare skin, and dark clothing are three things that attract mosquitoes.
